Our New Year’s Desire for You

"THAT HE,
THE FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST,

Would give you according to the riches of His glory to be strengthened with power by His Spirit in the inner man;

that the CHRIST may dwell, through faith, in your hearts, being rooted and founded in love,
in order that ye may be fully able to apprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height;

and to know the love of the CHRIST which surpasses knowledge;
that you may be filled (even) to all the fullness of God."

Eph. 3:16-19

Your "Hope" for the New Year

"SURELY, I COME QUICKLY."
Rev. 22:20

"Midst the darkness, storm, and sorrow, one bright gleam I see; Well I know the blessed morrow, Christ will come for me."

"He and I together entering those bright courts above; He and I together sharing all the Father’s love."

"He and I in that bright glory one deep joy shall share; Mine, to be forever with HIM; His, that I am there."

Your "Source of Comfort" for the New Year

"THE GOD OF ALL COMFORT; WHO COMFORTETH US IN ALL OUR TRIBULATIONS.’’ -- 2 Cor. 1:3,4

"Sweet to tell Him all, He knoweth,
Roll on Him the care,
Cast upon Himself the burden
That I cannot bear;
Then without a care oppressing,
Simply to lie still,
Giving thanks to Him for all things
Since it is His will."

Your "Secret" for the New Year
Is Worth Remembering

"For a Christian, the secret of peace within, and peace without,
is to be always and only
occupied with CHRIST"
("If therefore ye have been raised with the Christ, seek the things
which are above, where the Christ is sitting at the right hand of God…").
Col. 3:1

"Marvel not that Christ in glory,
All My inmost soul hath won;
Not a star to cheer my darkness,
But a light beyond the sun."

"Naught can stay our steady progress,
More than conquerors we shall be,
If our eye, whate’er the danger,
Is fixed on THEE, and none but THEE."

Your "Desire" for the New Year

"LORD JESUS, make Thyself to me
A living, bright Reality;
More present to faith’s vision keen
Than any earthly object seen;
More dear, more intimately nigh
Than e’en the dearest earthly tie."
